Suddenly the days are moving so quickly…the clocks change this weekend, the leaves are flying and Thanksgiving is on it’s way 🙂
We will be having a Student Show at the North Salem Library during the month of December. For those of you who want to participate please bring your work to class the week before Thanksgiving break. 🙂 I hope each of you will bring 1 or 2 paintings ready to hang.
Please check “Classes” for details about the upcoming sessions 🍂🦃🍁

Spring Art Show! All works chosen for the Spring Art Show must be submitted the first week of May :O) Works should be framed in neutral frames with light matts and wire for hanging, no bracket hangers. Please include a label on the back of each piece with name of subject, medium and cost or NFS (not for sale). The show will be the weekend of the plant sale May 16th, 17th and 18th. I will have sign up sheets in class for the Plant Show Sneak Preview on Friday evening and the show on Saturday and Sunday from 11-3:30. Looking so forward to Spring!!!!
Clearly no class today…stay home, stay warm….the snow seems to be endless…….
Some good news that has nothing to do with being snowed in…. I have been offered the use of the WPA Gallery at Pound Ridge Nature Reserve next December for a student show. We will have an opening reception and have a great venue to show your lovely drawings and paintings! I’m very happy to have a place for our winter show once more! In the spring we will have a spring show at Lasdon that will be open to the public as well. So start thinking of pieces you would like to put in the spring show :O) (no date yet…sometime in May).
Come on spring…..February can’t last forever…can it?
