Small works show coming up in North Salem….read on if your interested 🙂   Submissions from Northern Westchester, Putnam and Fairfield Counties.

SECOND ANNUAL

APPETITE for ART SHOW

SMALL WORKS EXHIBITION AND OPENING EVENT

The Ruth Keeler Memorial Library will host an art exhibition to benefit the library featuring small works by local artists.

The show will be on view from April 1 to April 8, 2017 at the St. James Village Hall, 296 Titicus Road, North Salem, New York 10560.

There will be an opening reception at the St. James Village Hall on Friday evening March 31, beginning at 5:00, with cocktails and food being served.

Artwork on display will be available for purchase at the opening and during the show. The selling price will be determined by the artist and, if a work is sold, the Library will pay the artist 60% of the selling price and the Library will retain the balance.

CALL FOR SUBMISSIONS

Submissions of work by artists from Northern Westchester, Putnam and Fairfield counties, including paintings, prints, works on paper, photographs, and sculpture, are now being accepted.

SUBMISSIONS GUIDELINES

Submit up to 4 works (a maximum of 20 inches on either side, including framing).

For each piece, provide the title, date (year), dimensions, and medium, as well as a high-resolution PDF or JPEG.

Also include your name, address, phone number, email address, and a paragraph listing your education or training, recent exhibitions, publications, and professional affiliations.

SUBMISSIONS FEE (NON-REFUNDABLE)

Send a check for $25.00 to the Ruth Keeler Memorial Library, 276 Titicus Road, North Salem, New York 10560, payable to the library with “Appetite for Art” in the memo line.

SUBMISSIONS DEADLINE

Submit images by Wednesday, March 1, 2017 to rkmlartshow@gmail.com.

WORK SELECTED FOR EXHIBITION

Artists chosen for the show will be notified by Monday, March 13.

Selected work must be delivered on Wednesday, March 29, between 1:00 pm and 5:00 pm, to the St. James Village Hall, framed and ready to hang.
