T’is the season……

November 19, 2013by jizogarden2 Comments on T’is the season……

The holidays are nearly here!  If any of you have some framed pictures……please bring them to class this week. 1-3 pictures will be a great help.  I am hanging a small show at Lasdon to go along with the Holiday House.  Thank you in advance for bringing me some of  your lovely pieces…..

Nothing new to post today so I’m posting an illustration I did in the 70’s for an article called “The Puzzle of Sedat” when I first moved to NYC I had dreams of becoming an illustrator. In those days Milton Glazer and Push Pin studios ruled the illustration world. This was never published but I’ve always been happy with the drawing . Color pencil and graphite ✏️
Day 3/5 30 minute watercolor inspired by my Hellebore :) 30 minutes goes by really fast!
What a lovely surprise from my friends Anne and Connie. A beautiful Hellebore plant from their garden with beautiful deep purple blooms. Thank you Ladies! 💕
Day2 -30 minute painting. Gouache on paper. Muscoot Farm. No caution allowed ;)
Doing a quick art challenge. Five 30 minute paintings in 5 days. This is my first quick painting of geraniums in my kitchen window waiting to go outside soon 🙂 6x6 gouache on mat board. Fast without caution ;)
