Pochade Cigar box ready for the field! I got a quick release latch for my easel and the metal attachment plate from Gorilla on Amazon. My husband put a small piece of wood under the metal plate for strength and a piece of wood glued and tacked to the back to create the angle to hold journals and paper :). This box is small and perfect for packing light :). Thank you Andrew for putting this all together so perfectly ☺️ Thank you also to my student and friend Valerie for the inspiration!

Painting Dragon Rock today at Russell Wright’s home in Garrison NY. It was magical standing in the deep woods next to his beautiful retreat...built on the steep edge of an abandoned quarry.

Small study of white washed timbers in a dairy barn. Sunlight on white creating so many colors. Maybe will lead to a series. 5x7” gouache
