Summer has come and gone. Fall is my favorite season and I’m enjoying all it has to offer.
I began my summer break with revisiting watercolors. I taught a workshop using a limited pallet…it was lots of fun 🙂 I then dedicated many weeks to painting a apple blossom branch in full flower. I also worked on a bearded iris, and cherries 🙂 You can see these in my gallery.
Now Fall has brought the fruit from the same lovely tree at Lasdon. This watercolor has been wonderful to do. I love the way the leaves swirl around the stem….the flaws are welcomed details…no spraying of these apple trees make their fruit so much more interesting.
Classes are full with many familiar faces and some newcomers too 🙂 Looking forward to the crisp air and all it promises.
